At 605 Green St, the Parkersburg Elks Lodge #198 has been a fixture of this Ohio River city for generations. Pull up a stool and you'll find the beer is cold, the drinks are poured honest, and the bartenders, including fan-favorite Carrie, know how to make a first-time visitor feel like a regular before the night is over.

The kitchen here isn't catered or contracted. It's run by members who actually cook. That means the kind of home-cooked meals you'd drive across town for, made by people who take real pride in what lands on your plate. Karaoke nights, a roaring fire, and a room full of folks who genuinely look out for each other round out the experience.

With a 4.5-star rating backed by 70 community reviews, Lodge #198 isn't trading on nostalgia alone. It earns its reputation every week through the people behind the bar and the members who keep this place alive.

What We Offer

Lodge #198 offers members and guests a full-service bar with cold draft and bottled beer, mixed drinks that are never watered down, and a rotating cast of events that give you a reason to come back every week. Karaoke nights pack the room, and the fire creates the kind of atmosphere that turns a Tuesday into a memory.

The home-cooked food program sets this lodge apart from every other bar in Parkersburg. Real cooks, real recipes, real portions. Beyond the bar and kitchen, Lodge #198 supports the Elks National Foundation through charitable programs, scholarship initiatives, and community service projects that benefit Parkersburg and Wood County directly.

Membership opens the door to private events, lodge facilities for gatherings, and a brotherhood and sisterhood built on the Elks' core values of charity, justice, brotherly love, and fidelity.

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
